There Is no set game mode or goals to achieve. This repeats over and over as the addons download in-game. Looks like Gmod does not recognize addons when you manually install them? So, i've decided to check out the console meanwhile the addons got downloaded, and this is what it says:Ĭancelling workshop download. (EDIT) Downloading the addons and manually dropping them into the addons folder didn't fix the problem, so i tried wiping out the folder, reinstalling gmod and do it manually with aol the addons, and again, that didn't fix it. I am certain this is not a problem of a lack of memory in my hard drive, as i have something like 38 gb free. Downloading the addons one by one (which was a pain in the rear, took me like 2 or 3 hours and ended up working for all the addons but two of them.)Īs i started up the game again, the number of downloading addons started to slowly raise up, and with the update of the content pack, there is now 37 addons that download but won't extract, won't mount and will try to download again after i start the game again. Unsubscribing to all the addons, uninstalling them, and then unistalling the game and installing it again. Erasing all the addons, both ingame and directly from the addons folder in the game files. Trying to solve this problem, i've tried a number of things: The rest of them seem to be in some sort of infinite limbo of downloading over and over each time i open the game. Recently, i joined a RP server that uses a content pack, but when trying to download the addons, only a part of them properly downloaded and installed.
Looking it up in google doesn't work either, so here i go.
I've been an avid player of Gmod for more than 1000 hours now, and i've never run into this problem before.
